November 1st report

At 0051 hours, an Officer conducted a traffic stop on a bicyclist near the intersection of 13th and Rodney.   The male driver was identified and found to be in possession of dangerous drugs.  At the conclusion of the investigation, the  47-year-old Helena man was cited for a Red Light Violation and Possession of Dangerous Drugs.  He was referred to Municipal Court.

At 1157 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of N Sanders for a Washington for a report of a female that had set a wood pile on fire the previous evening.  The female was identified via video.  Officers were familiar with the female and located her nearby.  The 45-year-old Helena area woman was cited for Negligent Arson and Trespassing.  She was referred to Municipal Court.  

At 1308 hours, Officers responded to the 3100 block of N Montana Ave in attempts to locate the female mentioned above.  When they located her, she was on property she was previously trespassed form.  The 45-year-old Helena area woman was cited for Trespassing and referred to Municipal Court. 

At 1417 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of N Oregon for a report of a female on the premises that was previously trespassed.  The female was located and identified.  At the conclusion of the investigation, the 43-year-old Helena area woman was cited for trespassing and referred to Municipal Court. 

At 1712 hours, Officers met with a complainant in regards to a sexual assault that occurred on the 1200 block of N Park Ave.  After meeting with the complainant, Officers located the suspect and interviewed him.  At the conclusion of the investigation, a 20-year-old Helena man was arrested for Sexual Intercourse Without Consent.  He was booked into the LCSO jail.

At 1831 hours, an Officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Montana Ave and Butte.   The male driver was identified and it was discovered he had a valid arrest warrant, a suspended driver’s license, and no liability insurance.  The 30-year-old Helena man was arrested for the aforementioned charges and booked into the LCSO jail.

At 2244 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Euclid for a report of a robbery that just occurred.  It was reported two armed suspects entered a business and were able to get an undisclosed amount of cash.   The suspects are still at large and the case is actively being investigated.          

The Helena Police Department responded to 42 calls for service.  Of those calls, they responded to 1 crash, 1 animal call, 7 Disorderly/Disturbance calls,  6 Suspicious Circumstance calls, 3 threat calls, 3 trespassing complaints, 2 welfare Checks, and conducted 5 traffic stops.
